Warranty Terms
Last updated: 30-09-2026
1. About this warranty
This warranty is offered by CARVRE ("we", "us", "our"), CARVRE LTD, company number 17350959.
It applies to CARVRE products bought directly from carvre.co.uk and delivered to an address in the United Kingdom.
This warranty is offered in addition to your legal rights. It does not replace, limit or affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other UK consumer law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. What's covered and for how long
Every eligible CARVRE product comes with a 6-month CARVRE warranty from the date of delivery.
We warrant that during that period the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and will perform substantially as described on its product page.
Consumable products are not covered by this warranty — see section 6.
3. Who can claim
This warranty is offered to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It applies to products bought for personal use. Products bought for business, commercial, hire or fleet use are not covered by this warranty, though your statutory rights as a business buyer are unaffected.
You'll need proof of purchase to make a claim.
4. How to make a claim
Email info@carvre.co.uk with:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A description of the problem, including when it started
- Photos or video showing the fault
- The vehicle or device the product was used with, if relevant
- Any other information we reasonably need to assess the claim
Please contact us within a reasonable time of noticing the fault, and in any case before the 6-month period ends.
We aim to acknowledge claims within 2 working days and to reach a decision within 14 days of receiving everything we need. If a claim is going to take longer, we'll tell you why.
5. If your claim is approved
If the product is confirmed to have a fault covered by this warranty, we will provide an appropriate remedy — normally a replacement, or a refund of the price you paid where a replacement isn't available or isn't practical.
If a replacement isn't available, we may offer a similar product of equivalent value or a refund, at your choice.
Where we need the product returned to assess or complete a claim, we'll provide return instructions. Where a fault is confirmed, we cover the cost of return. Where a returned product is found not to be faulty, or the issue falls outside this warranty, we'll explain why and return the product to you; we may ask you to cover return postage in that case.
A replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original 6-month period, or 30 days from the date the replacement is delivered, whichever is longer.
6. Products not covered by this warranty
Consumable products are not covered by the CARVRE warranty. This includes all fragrance products — air fresheners, gel diffusers, scent pods and hanging fresheners.
These products are designed to be used up. Their scent fades gradually and they come to the end of their life as intended, which isn't a fault. How long one lasts depends on temperature, ventilation and how far the product is opened, so the durations we quote are a guide rather than a guarantee.
This doesn't leave you without cover. If a fragrance product arrives damaged, leaking, broken, sealed incorrectly, or is the wrong item, contact us at info@carvre.co.uk and we'll put it right — that's covered by your statutory rights and by our returns policy, and it always will be.
7. What isn't covered
This warranty does not cover problems caused by:
- Accidental damage, including drops, impacts and liquid damage
- Misuse, improper use, or use outside the product's stated purpose
- Incorrect installation or fitting
- Unauthorised modification, repair or attempted repair
- Failing to follow the product instructions or care guidance we provide
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, scuffing and gradual loss of finish
- Damage arising after delivery that isn't due to a product defect
- Consumable products and fragrance products, as set out in section 6
- Products where the fault is caused by the vehicle, phone or other equipment they're used with, rather than by the CARVRE product itself
- Cosmetic marks that don't affect how the product works
We also can't cover a product where proof of purchase can't be provided, or where it was bought from a seller other than CARVRE.
8. Product-specific notes
Microfibre and textile products are covered against manufacturing defects such as failed stitching or seams. They are not covered against loss of softness, absorbency or pile caused by washing with fabric softener, bleach, high heat, or alongside cotton items, as set out in our care guidance.
Electrical and powered products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. They are not covered where damage results from an incompatible or faulty power source, a voltage outside the product's stated range, or use in a vehicle whose electrical system is at fault.
Phone mounts, holders and chargers are covered as products in their own right. We can't accept responsibility for damage to a phone or other device, however caused. Please fit and use these products as instructed, and check the mount is secure before driving.
Adhesive-mounted products are covered against adhesive failure within the warranty period where the product was fitted to a clean, dry, suitable surface as instructed. They are not covered where damage is caused to vehicle trim, paint or glass on fitting or removal.
9. Fitting and safe use
Our products are accessories. It's your responsibility to fit and use them safely and legally, and to make sure nothing obstructs your view, your controls, or the operation of any airbag.
Where a product is fitted inside a vehicle, please follow the instructions supplied and check it's secure before driving.
We're not able to cover damage to your vehicle, or to any other property, arising from incorrect fitting or unsafe use.
10. Your legal rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they aren't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances and how long you've had the item.
These rights last longer than our 6-month warranty and apply whether or not a warranty claim succeeds. Nothing in this document reduces them.
You also have separate rights to cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations — see our Returns Policy.
If we can't resolve a complaint, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution service. We'll tell you about your options if that point is reached.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the date you placed your order. Changes don't affect warranties already in force.
